I used to work on a number of Mega Man fan sites some years in the past, and as a result accumulated a bit of high resolution Mega Man artwork and logos that Capcom would put out for promotional purposes. The collection covers over 30 of the titles that came out (or in a couple cases, didn’t) over the 2000s.
The selection is pretty hit or miss. Some games came with a lot of art, and some hardly got more than a box cover. Some are JPG format, some are PSD (and some of those still have all of the separate layers from when the artists were making them, but it’s uncommon). But regardless, nearly all of it is very, very high resolution.* This is no joke, the whole collection is around 1.3GB.
If you’re a practicing artist who likes have high res samples to study, or just someone who really appreciates video game art, then this is for you. Past me would have totally flipped out that I’m giving this all away, but oh well!

*The Mega Man 9 and 10 art is sadly not the original press assets. I’m really, really bummed out that I couldn’t find them. But the mid-sized copies I do have are still alright.
While many people are aware of Doug TenNapel’s works, which include Earthworm Jim, The Neverhood, Catscratch, Gear, Ratfist, and many other highly-successful titles, I don’t think many people are aware of the kind of gross things he’s said in interviews and in comments in response to criticism.
I know I was certainly unaware until I read this article on GayGamer, which reports the back-and-forth between TenNapel and a reader on the comments section of one of his webcomic pages (which is no longer up).
21st: Do you honestly believe that every country save for yours is some repressive autocracy devoid of freedom?“
DTN: Just compared to ours. We kick ass.
21st:“Christianity: 78.5%”
DTN: Again, why we kick ass.
21st: “You know, if you don’t have will and die right now, your wife would inherit your stuff.”
DTN: Neither could my gardener, but I shouldn’t have to marry him to work those details out. I don’t have a problem with anyone visiting anyone in the hospital… but we both know this isn’t about hospital visits.
21st: “What argument do you have specifically against letting two adult men who love each other marry?”
DTN: The same argument I have against letting a man take a dump in the ladies room. And office appropriate for one sex isn’t automatically appropriate for another, no matter how much a man loves taking a dump in the ladies room.
21st: “Lastly, i’m at least thankful you’re not equating gays to pedophiles or zoophiles. That’s more respectful than some.”
DTN: Give me some time all I’ll see what I can do. You realize this conversation is going to be used by your people to justify a permanent boycott of my work. They would probably use this argument to justify me not being able to visit anyone in any hospital while they’re at it. THis argument isn’t about laws and marriage, it’s about cultural witch hunts. THere are a lot worse things than not being able to marry your same sex.
21st: “Right now, some states are, in fact, fighting to remove rights from people. Is that right?”
DTN: America has thousands of people’s rights taken away every day. Take a number.
Beside his problematic view of other countries, he doesn’t hesitate to compare same sex marriage to “letting a man take a dump in the ladies room”. He calls the Gay Rights people by the othering term “your people”, and compares the changing rights landscape to a “cultural witch hunt”.
He concludes by using the logical fallacy of “other people have it worse, so just deal with it”.
TenNapel eventually shows up in the comments section to make a complete ass of himself.
As this comment was posted on a website called “GayGamer”, this is clearly intended as an HIV/AIDs jab, and I don’t even need to explain why this is in such horrible taste for any situation, especially this one.
Here we see TenNapel equating personal beliefs to sexual orientation, and makes himself into the persecuted one here with claims of “Christophobe”. Notice his repeated use of the term “the gays”.
His comments become longer and longer as he participates, as he tries to defend his unnecessary snarks against more people.
In conclusion, I know a lot of people are able to separate the art from the artist, but I really don’t want to purchase anything that came from the mind that also makes these sort of remarks.
